Videographer​/Photographer First- Position) College of Art

Reports to: Sarina Green, Creative Director

Status: Spring 2027, 5 hours a week

Salary: $15/hr

Summary
:
The Videographer/Photographer works with the College Relations/Communications Team and will capture and edit video footage and photos for platforms including social media, the college website, digital marketing campaigns, and more.

Responsibilities:

• recording video and photos at campus events as requested
• willingness to interview and record brief dialogue from people at activities
• capturing general student/campus day-in-the-life interviews/videos/photos
• editing footage to create short videos and reels
• editing photos; tagging and organizing in the drive
• uploading photos/video to the appropriate storage drive promptly (typically within 24-48 hours of the event)
• Must have your own access to equipment (camera, software, etc.)

Requirements:

• Understanding of introductory videography/photography principles and editing platforms
• Knowledgeable in the use of technical equipment and supplies
• Access to photo/video equipment
• Strong storytelling and communication skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work in both a studio and mobile setting, manual dexterity to use computers and standard office equipment, strength to lift and carry video equipment, supplies and other materials up to 35 lbs; physical ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
