Overview

Adjunct Professor, School of Science and Technology — Endicott College. The School of Science and Technology is seeking individuals to teach in the Spring 2026 semester, with classes starting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and ending on Friday, May 8, 2026 where noted. Courses are in-person or online as specified below. Endicott College is located approximately 20 miles north of Boston;

parking is free and accessible by commuter rail.

All undergraduate courses meet in-person; BIN
670 for the MS in Bioinformatics is taught online and asynchronously. BIN
670 meets for 6 weeks from March 2, 2026 to April 12, 2026. In-person lecture courses meet for 3 hours a week; each laboratory section meets once a week for 2 hours.

  • BIN 670 - Introduction to Machine Learning and Distributed Computing
Responsibilities
  • Deliver the course(s) in person or online in their assigned time blocks.
  • Abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.
  • Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.
  • Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
  • Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
  • Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.
  • Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
  • Use Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.
Qualifications

A minimum of a Master’s degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
