Job Description

We are seeking a hands‑on, energetic Senior Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and optimizing advanced equipment used in chip‑scale atomic clock manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to develop, test, and refine prototypes, and play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

This position offers an experience‑rich opportunity to work alongside cross‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, collegial environment. You will have high levels of autonomy and access to state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including internal foundries, assembly plants, testing labs, and failure analysis resources.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Design, modify, and optimize mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and testing to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in cleanroom environments.
  • Build and test prototypes.
  • Inspect wafers and parts for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements and support R&D initiatives.
  • Document procedures, maintenance activities, and test results accurately.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, process engineering, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on experience with pick and place equipment, and semiconductor fabrication is preferred.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, automation systems, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
