Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – High Res Biosolutions

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr

High Res is seeking a collaborative Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to help ensure the reliability and scalability of our advanced laboratory automation systems. In this role, you will partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and our global suppliers to verify component quality, drive supplier assessments, lead root‑cause investigations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly support the delivery of high‑impact robotics used by scientists worldwide, while contributing to a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and practical problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor supplier KPIs, manage scorecards, and lead supplier reviews.
  • Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and on‑site verifications as needed.
  • Resolve supplier nonconformances and verify effective corrective actions.
  • Lead structured root cause analysis for supplier‑related issues.
  • Review and approve PPAP documentation, including FAI, inspection data, GR&R, MSA, and certifications.
  • Support qualification of new/modified components and supplier transitions.
  • Develop supplier quality strategies, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to support supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance.
  • Support cost‑of‑quality reduction initiatives through data analysis, defect reduction, and proactive supplier engagement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience.
  • Proficiency with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, GR&R, MSA, SPC, and corrective action tools.
  • Experience conducting audits to ISO 9001 or similar standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating or programming CMM equipment.
  • Background in life sciences, automation, robotics, or regulated industries.
  • ASQ certifications (CQA, CQE, CSQP, CSSBB).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence suppliers and drive measurable performance improvements.
