Import Export Compliance Co-ordinator

Job Summary

The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the company's compliance specialist with all import and export classifications, with a focus on Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This role involves gathering /reviewing documentation for imports and exports and assisting in Duty drawback preparation.

• Accurately classify products under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assign Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) based on technical specifications and regulatory guidelines
• Assist in ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for defense-related products and technology.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to U.S. export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Understanding of U.S. export controls, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
• 1+ years experience

Bachelors Degree

Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified International Trade Professional (CITP)
