Tax Manager

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a well-established wealth management firm on a search for a Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional coming out of public accounting who is looking to transition into a wealth management environment while continuing to work with sophisticated, high-net-worth clients. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio, work directly with clients and their advisors, and provide year-round tax planning and advisory services.

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individual clients and related tax returns
• Oversee the preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and other entity tax returns
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their outside advisors
• Provide year-round tax planning and advisory services
• Advise clients on estimated tax payments, tax strategies, and other planning opportunities
• Work closely with clients and internal team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax matters

• 4–5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals preferred
• Strong understanding of individual and related entity taxation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong Excel skills
• CPA or EA preferred, but not required

• $125,000–$170,000 base salary, depending on experience
