Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Sevita
Sevita is a part of the Futures family, offering community‑wide and center‑based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. For over 15 years, the company has delivered collaborative, team‑based care that helps children and families reach their fullest potential.
We are hiring an experienced RBT to implement behavior management programs for individuals served 1:1 in our center‑based environment. The professional works closely with a BCBA. Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships and build rapport with clients.
- Implement treatment plan goals and interventions using sound judgment and seek appropriate consultation.
- Collaborate with families and the treatment team to apply behavior management techniques.
- Educate parents/guardians on reinforcement and intervention strategies as requested.
- Promote safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors.
- Review progress objectively using behavior analytic methods, recognize barriers, and make recommendations.
- Accurately collect behavior data including A‑B‑C, count, frequency, duration, latency, inter‑response time, event, and interval‑based recordings.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation for staff and clients.
- Complete incident reports per agency policy.
- Review daily updates on clients (new programs, access level changes, scheduled sessions) and implement them.
- Ensure proper implementation and conduct retraining as needed by communicating with staff.
- Schedule and prepare for leisure activities to keep clients engaged outside therapy sessions.
- Attend clinical meetings such as access review meetings, clinical team meetings, and progress conferences.
- Provide up‑to‑date residential status of participants and identify problems, following up with solutions per clinical team recommendations.
- High School Diploma with RBT credential, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with youth, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport quickly.
- A good listener able to empathize while providing guidance.
- Hourly rate of $24.50/hr.
- Full‑time and part‑time hours available.
