Audiologist – Outpatient
  • Schedule:

    35 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Day shift
  • Hours:

    Typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - flexible
  • Setting:
    Outpatient Clinic
  • Patient Volume: ~10–12 patients/day
Patient Population
  • Adults and pediatrics with hearing loss
  • Adults with balance and vestibular disorders
  • Outpatient, ambulatory care setting
Technology & Testing
  • Audiometry
  • Tympanometry
  • Hearing aid programming systems
  • A  (Auditory Brainstem Response) – preferred
  • VNG (Vestibular testing) – preferred
Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 1 year of audiology experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Au.D. Audiology Program
  • Active Massachusetts Audiologist license
  • BLS/CPR (AHA)
Preferred
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A)
  • Experience with neonatal A  and/or vestibular testing (VNG)
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic audio logic evaluations
  • Conduct vestibular assessments and balance testing
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding hearing loss and communication strategies
  • Perform hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and programming
  • Review and interpret test results and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and rehabilitation professionals to coordinate care
  • Ensure compliance with state, hospital, and departmental policies
