Department: Student Affairs
Pay: $15.00/hr
Estimated hours per week: 5Expected Duration of Job: Begin start Spring ‘27 semester.
Summary: Attendant will sit at the desk and manage entry and exit of the Student Village during high traffic times. Attendant will ensure safety of the building by enforcing the guest policy and the arrival of deliveries.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage entry and exit of visitors to the building
- Keep the Student Village Lobby and Lounge tidy and clean
- Manage poster wall in the Villages
- Stock the Student Village Lounge kitchenette with supplies as needed
- Keep the food pantry tidy and clean
Learning Outcomes:
- The student employee will be able to work independently and on a deadline
- The student employee will work as a part of a team
- Take ownership of work duties and responsibilities, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time
- Build confidence in their skills and experiences related to their work environment
- Proactively seek opportunities to learn and interested in self development
- The student employee will communicate clearly and organize their thoughts so others can understand
- Serve as a role model to others
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:Must be able to sit or for extended periods. Manual dexterity is occasionally required.
