Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary A well-established manufacturing company in Beverly, MA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join its team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility, including manufacturing areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable following a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities Clean and maintain manufacturing areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and other surfaces. Perform floor care, including waxing as needed. Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility. Keep restrooms and break rooms clean, stocked, and sanitary. Maintain cleanliness of building entrances and other high-traffic areas. Assist with general facility upkeep and organization.

Help maintain exterior areas, including keeping entrances and parking areas free of trash and debris. Water and maintain plants and other basic landscaping needs as needed. Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal. Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures. Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools. Report maintenance, safety, or facility issues to management. Work independently while maintaining consistent standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred. Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks according to schedule. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physical cleaning duties throughout the workday. Ability to work safely around cleaning products and equipment.
