American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring MA RN licensure and 2+ years of experience.
Details- Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend
- Float required to an affiliated hospital as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a day-one pass/fail competency test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt)
- Must complete Relias testing during onboarding to prepare for onsite testing (two attempts)
- Provide telemetry-level nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
- Previous employees of the health system must have a 6-month break in service before returning, and must be in good standing
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
