This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working.

Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

• Day to day bookkeeping activities for a range of clients, including completing VAT calculations and submissions
• Handle the preparation and submission of CIS returns
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Assisting with year-end accounts
• HMRC liaison and submissions
• Take responsibility for organising workloads and ensuring all regular tasks and deadlines are met
• Support managers with drafting accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• more responsibilities added with time!

A successful candidate for this position will have circa 1yr+ UK accountancy practice experience and be able to jump straight into this role. You must live within a 45 minute commute of Bexhill.
