Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
We have an opening for a trainee to join our expanding accounts team in our Bexhill office. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual who wishes to build a career in accountancy. The role would suit someone who is either at the beginning of their accountancy journey, currently studying AAT, or has already achieved an AAT qualification with good practical experience and is seeking a long-term role within a supportive practice environment.
Previous accountancy experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
- Excellent GCSE and/or A-level results, including Maths and English
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Professional, positive and proactive attitude
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to deliver quality work to agreed deadlines
Support for further AAT training may be provided via the Apprenticeship Scheme subject to meeting relevant criteria.
Market rate salary according to experience.
