Maintenance Person

This is a permanent maintenance person role at Agincare Homes Holdings, a family-run care provider with over 4,500 employees and over 100 locations across England. The role involves maintaining the building and grounds of the St Peters care home in Bexhill-on-Sea, ensuring the safety and well‑being of the residents.

As a Maintenance Person at Agincare Homes Holdings, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds at the St Peters care home in Bexhill-on-Sea. This includes assessing and undertaking repairs, painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, and ensuring the care home is safe for all residents. You will work closely with the head office team to manage any work that cannot be completed internally.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Previous experience required in maintenance and gardening
• This is a full time role at 36 to 40 hours per week to include working alternative weekends

A day in the life of a Maintenance Person

• You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements
• You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows.
• If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
• Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents.
• You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
