Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

We will develop and evolve sophisticated, segmented pricing across our insurance products.

We will explore a vast data landscape with ownership and opportunity to turn our work into real business impact.

We will draw insights, explore new ways of using data and find value to drive change.

We will collaborate with other areas of our Pricing Data & Analytics teams to bring new data sources to life.

We will identify opportunities to improve how we assess risk and help create fairer pricing for our customers.

We will mentor and develop Graduate and Junior Analysts.

Hybrid role based in Leicester or Bexhill, focusing on improving risk assessment and using data to create fairer pricing for our customers.

• Python
• SQL
• R

• Experience using Python, SQL or R and having seen projects through from start to finish in a fast-moving, data-focused environment.
• Curious, creative and data-driven mindset.
• Comfortable tackling numerical and statistical problems.
• Ability to work with an analytical programming environment and use tools or languages to solve problems, find solutions and provide actionable insight.
• Experience collaborating in a pricing data and analytics environment.
• Ability to mentor and develop Graduate and Junior Analysts.
