Temporary Estate Services Cleaner
Location: Hastings and Bexhill
Contract: 6 weeks, temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (35 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Estate Services Cleaner to work across various sites in the Hastings and Bexhill area. This is a mobile role, working as part of a supportive team to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents and visitors.
The successful candidate will be based at the Hastings depot, where each working day will start and finish. Applicants must live locally and hold a full, valid driving licence.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard across multiple sites.
- Clean communal areas, kitchens, toilets, bathrooms, showers and shared facilities.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain good hygiene standards.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Undertake manual handling duties where required.
- Occasionally clean areas affected by human or animal waste, including dog waste and urine, following approved procedures and safety guidance.
- Help maintain clean, safe and presentable environments for residents and visitors.
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- A full, valid driving licence.
- Must live in or around Hastings/Bexhill.
- Ability to travel between multiple sites throughout the working day.
- A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding duties.
- Willingness to carry out all aspects of the role, including cleaning toilets, bathrooms, showers and areas affected by human or animal waste.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.
- 35 hours per week.
- 6-week temporary assignment.
- Based from Hastings, with work across various sites in the Hastings and Bexhill area.
Please note: Applicants must live locally, hold a full, valid driving licence and be comfortable undertaking all cleaning duties outlined above.
