A highly regarded secondary school in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher to teach across GCSE Business (Years 10-11) and A-Level Business and Economics (Years 12-13). This role is available from April 2026, with flexibility to appoint on a permanent basis or as a long-term contract, depending on candidate preference.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Business (KS4) and Business & Economics (KS5)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support excellent progress
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and departmental development
- Take part in wider enrichment within a thriving Sixth Form community
The Ideal Candidate
- QTS or equivalent, with a specialism in Business, Economics or related field
- Strong subject knowledge across KS4-KS5
- Confident teaching high-attaining students at A-Level
- Committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners
- Able to create an inclusive, structured and motivating classroom environment
