Business & Economics Teacher - KS4-KS5 (Years 10-13)

Location: BexleyContract: Permanent or Long-Term (Flexible)Start Date:April 2026Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London)

A highly regarded secondary school in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher to teach across GCSE Business (Years 10-11) and A-Level Business and Economics (Years 12-13). This role is available from April 2026, with flexibility to appoint on a permanent basis or as a long-term contract, depending on candidate preference.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Business (KS4) and Business & Economics (KS5)
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support excellent progress
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and departmental development
  • Take part in wider enrichment within a thriving Sixth Form community

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS or equivalent, with a specialism in Business, Economics or related field
  • Strong subject knowledge across KS4-KS5
  • Confident teaching high-attaining students at A-Level
  • Committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners
  • Able to create an inclusive, structured and motivating classroom environment
