A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology specialist to join their Design & Technology department on a permanent or fixed-term basis.

About the Role

• Teach Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire a love of food, nutrition, and healthy living
• Create a safe and well-managed environment within the food technology kitchens
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider DT faculty
• Participate in school initiatives, extracurricular activities, and whole-school events

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands-on learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate, challenge, and support students of all abilities
