Are you passionate about helping young people and adults with SEN achieve their potential? Our client, a respected education provider, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to deliver high-quality support across their programmes.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Support learners with SEN across their study programmes
 
* Facilitate access to learning and college services
 
* Encourage independence and self-advocacy skills
 
* Contribute to learner assessments and support plans
 
* Assist with personal care, mobility and well-being
 
* Anticipate barriers and use strategies to minimise difficulties
 
* Ensure specialist equipment and assistive technologies are available
 
* Report health, safety or mobility concerns
 
* Support communication with parents, carers and external agencies
 
* Participate in learner reviews and team meetings
About You
 
* A good standard of general education
 
* Level 2 Maths & English (or willingness to achieve)
 
* Experience working in a multicultural environment
 
* Understanding of safeguarding and safe learning environments
 
* Compassionate to the needs of learners with SEN
 
* Strong communication and team working skills
 
* Confident using IT
 
* Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic
 
* Willing to support personal care and mobility needs
 
* A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required for this role.
