Paid for 44.45 weeks (FTE £29,111)

Our client’s Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from the start of the new term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to make a real difference to the youngest children in their school community.

The Primary School is part of our client, a multi-academy trust serving schools across Bexley, Gravesham, and Medway. They offer a supportive, collaborative environment with access to trust-wide training and development opportunities.

You will work alongside the Nursery Teacher to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a warm, stimulating Early Years environment.

Day to day this includes:

• Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Helping to plan and deliver engaging play-based activities.
• Supervising and supporting children during learning, play, and routines (including care needs such as toileting and feeding, where required).
• Observing and recording children's progress and development.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

What they’re looking for:

• A relevant childcare or education qualification (e.g. Level 2 / 3 in Early Years or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in the Early Years age range.
• A genuine passion for early childhood development.
• Patience, warmth, and excellent communication skills.
• A team player who is reliable, flexible, and proactive.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
