We are recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Erith.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working across production machinery, process equipment and site services.

The role will involve planned and reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault‑finding, supporting production uptime and getting involved in continuous improvement activity.

• Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding
• Working on automated manufacturing equipment
• Supporting breakdowns and reducing downtime
• Fault‑finding on PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and control systems
• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Supporting reliability and improvement projects
• Recording work using a CMMS system.

• Multi‑skilled engineering background
• Electrical bias preferred
• FMCG, food, drink, packaging or manufacturing experience
• PLC fault‑finding experience, Siemens preferred
• Mechanical maintenance experience
• Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• 18th Edition desirable
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
