Electrical Maintenance Engineer

FM Conway is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division. In this role, you will help keep our asphalt plants operating safely and efficiently by carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding and improvement work across multiple sites. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work remotely, covering our Asphalt Plants in Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven, with regular travel between sites required.

The duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections and reactive repairs on electrical and mechanical plant equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out electrical installations, repairs and improvements to minimise plant downtime
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with electrical regulations, permit to work systems and lock off/tag out (LOTOTO) procedures
• Maintaining electrical compliance records, documentation and maintenance schedules
• Supporting engineering projects, including equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning
• Working closely with Plant Managers and Operators to improve plant reliability, performance and efficiency
