Full-Time School Caretaker - Ashford

Academics are currently recruiting a Full-Time Caretaker to work on behalf of a local school in Ashford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and reliable caretaker to join a supportive school environment.

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay:
Competitive (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school site

General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the premises

Carrying out health & safety and compliance checks

Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained

Setting up rooms for lessons, events, and meetings

Monitoring site security and liaising with contractors

Supporting staff with day-to-day site needs

The Ideal Candidate :

Previous experience as a school caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities assistant

Strong understanding of health & safety procedures

Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
