Warehouse Operative

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and preparing food products for dispatch

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Operating pallet trucks or warehouse equipment (where trained)

• Checking goods for quality, quantity, and damage

• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

• Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with standards

• Supporting production teams as required

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (food environment an advantage)

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required
