Apprentice Supervisor

Position:
Apprentice Supervisor – shop in Erith, Bexley, Greater London.

35 hours per week across 5 days.

Pay: £13.11 per hour, guaranteed 35 hours pay per week (minimum £458 per week).

• Working in a busy shop and learning to be a great supervisor.
• Regular pre‑arranged visits every 10–12 weeks from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider.
• Regular reviews via webinar, telephone, and video call between visits.
• Completion of apprenticeship coursework.
• Completion of functional skills in English and Maths (if required).
• Assessment at the end of 12 months of training.
• Qualification:
  
  Retail Team Leader Level 3 apprenticeship standard.

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries; quickly place products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop clean and tidy.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with always something to do.
• Reliable – essential part of a small team.
• Flexibility with shifts, covering as needed; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Ensure all work set by the apprenticeship provider is completed on time and to the best of your ability.
