Retail Assistant - Part Time

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Erith, Bexley, Greater London. This is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

• Enjoy being busy and adapting to fast‑moving tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability – being an important part of a small team that customers and colleagues depend on.
