The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently deliver customer products using liquid tanks throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

• Loading and unloading liquid tanks
• Food and non‑food products
• Keeping the vehicle in clean condition
• Working at heights
• Using a digital hand‑held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines

• Uniform & PPE provided – Stay professional and protected on the job.
• 20‑28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) + holiday service days for 3, 6 and 9 year service.
• Online self‑service access – Easily manage payslips & holidays.
• Full DCPC training provided in‑house.
• Health Shield (Dentist, Physiotherapy, Vaccinations, Optical costs reimbursed)

• HGV 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months – Max 6 penalty points
• Valid DCPC card
• Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140 kg
