Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of a leading logistics client based in Erith

This is a multi-drop position and plays a vital role in supporting efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Safely operate Class 2 (Category
  
  C) vehicles, including double deck units
  , delivering goods across planned routes
• Complete multi-drop deliveries efficiently and on schedule
• Carry out pre and post vehicle checks
  , ensuring roadworthiness and compliance
• Secure loads safely to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and minimise delays
• Communicate clearly with transport teams and customers regarding deliveries
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required
• Adhere to all UK driving regulations
  , tachograph rules, and health & safety standards

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Experience in multi-drop delivery environments (essential)
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and safety standards
• Physically capable of handling loading, unloading, and securing loads
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Clean driving record
• Flexibility to work varying shifts if required

• Salary of £39,000 per annum (£18.75 per hour)
