Rapier Employment are recruiting experienced  HGV Class 1 (C

E) Drivers  to join one of the UK's leading supermarket distribution operations based in  Erith and Dartford .

Pay & Benefits
Days:  £20.00 per hour
Mid Shift / Backs:  £20.75 per hour
Nights:  £22.93 per hour
Overtime:  Up to £26.63 per hour
Enhanced rates after 12 weeks –  up to £53.22 per hour
All breaks fully paid

The Role
You'll be delivering chilled and ambient products to a major UK supermarket network using modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles.

Duties include:

Store deliveries and trunking work
Operating safely and professionally at all times
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Working within a busy 24/7 distribution operation
Minimal manual handling

Shift Information
Flexible shifts available across a 7-day operation (including weekends).

Start Times
AM:  03:00 – 08:00
PM:  17:00 – 02:00

Shift Length
Typically  9–15 hours

What We're Looking For
Valid  HGV Class 1 (C

E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum  6 months' Class 1 driving experience
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, CD or IN endorsements)
Right to work in the UK
Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude

Assessment Process
Before starting, you'll complete:
Theory test
Yard manoeuvre assessment
On-road driving assessment
