About the Role
We’re looking for a high-agency Growth & GTM Associate to work directly with the Founder of a B2B growth talent platform and fractional executive network.
The Founder brings a background spanning McKinsey, Harvard Business School, Harvard Law, CRO, CMO, and CEO roles across B2B SaaS, including experience with a $1B+ exit and active PE and VC board and advisory positions.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of outbound GTM, research, content, AI, and business development. You’ll start by executing and optimizing core growth systems and, based on performance, gradually take ownership of larger parts of the growth engine.
There is a potential path into a leadership role over time for someone who demonstrates strong judgment, execution, and ownership.
Phase 1 — Build the Foundation
You’ll work closely with the Founder to:
- Build data-driven target lists and identify high-value prospects.
- Develop compelling offers and messaging for outbound campaigns.
- Become an expert in Smartlead, including:
- List optimization
- Data enrichment and hygiene
- Sequence design
- Deliverability
- Personalization
- Campaign optimization
- Track leading GTM executives and content creators on Linked In and identify emerging content and growth patterns.
- Translate those insights into original ideas relevant to our audience.
- Collaborate on our resource hub and Linked In presence.
- Turn Founder conversations, research, and ideas into polished:
- Slide decks
- Guides
- Articles
- Linked In posts
- Other lead-generation assets
- Use AI tools to accelerate:
- Target-list building
- First-pass outbound copy
- Linked In research
- Research synthesis
- Content first drafts
AI should make you faster, not less thoughtful. Final output needs to sound authentic and reflect strong judgment.

Phase 2 — Own & Optimize
As you develop expertise, you’ll take greater ownership of the growth engine:
- Optimize outbound campaigns end-to-end using response data and ongoing research.
- Continuously test and refine messaging, offers, targeting, and sequences.
- Research evolving GTM and outbound best practices.
- Develop original ideas for Linked In posts, articles, and content assets.
- Own resource hub assets from research → structure → drafting → final production.
- Interview members of our fractional executive network about their GTM successes.
- Turn those conversations into compelling case studies and content designed to attract prospective clients and network members.
- Expand your use of AI for:
- List analysis
- Message analysis
- Response analytics
- Research
- Content development
- Content optimization
Phase 3 — Expand Your Scope
With demonstrated expertise and strong performance, you’ll begin taking on more strategic responsibilities:
- Conduct initial conversations with prospective fractional network members.
- Assess executive backgrounds and determine initial fit with the network.
- Potentially conduct screening or initial interviews for GTM leadership searches, depending on your expertise.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, workflows, and systems.
- Explore and implement AI-enabled workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with the Founder on optimizing systems beyond Smartlead, including CRM and recruiting workflows.
- Take increasing ownership of growth and operating initiatives.
