QA-Food Safety Manager

Company Description  Kings Dehydrated Foods Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of dehydrated onion, toasted onion, crispy fried onion, and dehydrated garlic, with one of the largest production capacities in the region.

Role Description  The QA–Food Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhavnagar, responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety and quality assurance across production lines. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and food safety protocols in alignment with global standards and company certifications. Daily tasks include monitoring production processes, conducting internal audits and inspections, reviewing laboratory test results, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

The manager will lead root-cause analysis for non-conformities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, train and mentor team members on food safety and quality practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent product standards and documentation.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including setting up, monitoring, and improving quality systems.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Food Safety and Food Manufacturing, with practical understanding of HACCP, GFSI/BRC, and related standards.
Candidates should possess familiarity with the Food & Beverage sector, especially processed or dehydrated food products and export-oriented operations.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
Experience in managing audits (internal, third-party, and customer) and maintaining certifications like BRC, FSSC 22000, or equivalent.
Strong documentation, data analysis, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret quality metrics.
Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, training, and cross-functional coordination in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work on-site in Bhavnagar, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
