About the Role Career-9 Edulife Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a dedicated and empathetic Career & Behavioral Counsellor to support students in their academic, personal, behavioural, and career development. The selected candidate will work closely with students, parents, and school stakeholders to provide effective counselling support and career guidance.
Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students.
Guide students in academic, career, and personal development.
Help students understand their strengths, interests, challenges, and career options.
Provide behavioural counselling and emotional support to students.
Counsel parents regarding student behaviour, development, and career planning.
Assist students in making informed decisions about subject selection, higher education, and career pathways.
Maintain basic counselling records, student progress notes, and follow-up reports.
Coordinate with school staff when required to support student development.
Conduct awareness sessions or group counselling sessions as needed.
Required Qualification M.A. in Psychology is required.
Work Experience:
1–3 years of experience in school counselling, career counselling, behavioural counselling, student counselling, or psychology-related work.
Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of student behaviour and developmental needs.
Empathy, patience, and active listening skills.
Ability to counsel students and parents professionally.
Basic documentation and reporting skills.
Passion for working with students and supporting their growth.
Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be compassionate, responsible, and confident in handling student and parent counselling sessions. Prior experience in school counselling, career counselling, or behavioural counselling will be an added advantage.
