About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Specialist to lead and manage our financial operations. This role is responsible for accounting, payroll, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement, while partnering with leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with  ADP payroll systems  and  Quick Books , along with a strong understanding of financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage full-cycle payroll using  ADP , ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and expense controls.
Prepare and file payroll and business tax filings; ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.
Maintain and optimize  Quick Books (Pro & Enterprise)  accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Supervise and mentor accounting or administrative staff as applicable.
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations.

Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong hands-on experience with  ADP payroll  and  Quick Books .
Solid knowledge of GAAP, payroll compliance, and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting small to mid-sized organizations.
Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state payroll environments.
Quick Books or payroll-related certifications.
