Role Description The Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a full-time, on-site position based in Saikheda, District. Pandhurna (Madhya Pradesh). The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in computer science and related areas, preparing and delivering lectures, labs, and tutorials, and assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The faculty member will develop and update curricula to align with emerging technologies and industry standards, guide student projects, and provide academic mentoring and support.
Additional responsibilities include engaging in research or scholarly activities, participating in departmental meetings and committees, contributing to accreditation and quality initiatives, and supporting outreach and co-curricular programs within the institution.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Computer Science & Engineering concepts, with the ability to teach fundamental and advanced courses.
Competence in Programming (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, or similar languages) and practical skills for guiding lab work and projects.
Knowledge of Data Science methodologies and tools for teaching data analysis, machine learning, and related topics.
Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices to support courses and projects in secure systems and networks.
Experience or interest in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, course materials, and assessments aligned with academic and industry standards.
Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, or a closely related field.
Effective communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support a diverse student population.
Research orientation with a record or potential for publications, conference participation, or funded projects in computer science or engineering domains.
Commitment to ethical academic practices, continuous professional development, and participation in institutional and departmental activities.
