We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (XI & XII) and inspire students to develop a strong foundation in Chemistry. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare annual lesson plans, teaching schedules, and learning materials.
Conduct practical laboratory sessions while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Assess student performance through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and academic progress.
Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations wherever applicable.
Classroom Management
Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
Address individual learning needs and support students requiring additional assistance.
Administrative & Co-curricular Responsibilities.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and training programs
Assist in organizing science exhibitions, competitions, educational trips, and school events.
Perform examination-related duties and other academic responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university.
B.Ed. degree preferred.
Strong understanding of senior secondary Chemistry curriculum.
Proficiency in English communication and classroom instruction .
Skills Required
Excellent subject knowledge and teaching aptitude.
Effective classroom management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to student development and academic excellenc e.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary leve l Working
/strong>Hours
7-8 hours a day. (Monday to Saturda y)
Salary an
d benefits
Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month (Accomodation and Food includ ed)
