Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Automation Engineer role based in Bhubaneswar. The Senior Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation solutions for industrial processes, including programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related instrumentation. The role involves reviewing client requirements, preparing technical proposals, and leading system integration from electrical panel design to commissioning. The engineer will troubleshoot automation and control issues, optimize process performance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding junior engineers and technicians, documenting system designs and test procedures, and providing technical support during installation, testing, and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial systems and integrated solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering expertise, including knowledge of electrical panels, control circuits, and instrumentation.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing and resolving automation, electrical, and process-related issues.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Robotics or robotic integration in industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial automation projects, preferably in panel design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and commissioning of ABB/MITSUBISHI/ROCKWELL will be prefered.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort working on-site in industrial environments and willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
