About the Role:

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our luxury multi-designer apparel brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing operations, handling customer transactions efficiently, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

As the final point of interaction with customers, the Cashier plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall shopping experience and upholding the brand's premium image.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Cash Management:
Process customer purchases accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions.
Ensure accurate billing and invoice generation.
Maintain cash registers and reconcile cash collections at the end of each shift.
Prepare daily sales and cash reports.

Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Address customer queries related to billing, payments, returns, and exchanges.
Ensure a smooth and pleasant checkout experience for customers.
Assist customers with loyalty programs, offers, and promotional activities.

Store Operations Support:
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure accurate billing and inventory updates.
Assist in maintaining customer records and purchase history.
Support store opening and closing procedures as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain proper records of transactions, refunds, exchanges, and discounts.
Report discrepancies in cash handling or billing immediately to the Store Manager.
Assist in audit and stock verification processes when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
Prior experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive, or Retail Associate will be preferred.

Preferred

Skills:

Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of POS systems and billing software.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in Retail, Apparel, Luxury Retail, Lifestyle, Jewellery, or Hospitality sectors.
