Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs and helping them achieve their individual goals?
A Secondary SEN School in Bicester is seeking a dedicated and caring EHCP Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers.
As an EHCP Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support in line with students' individual EHCP targets and needs.
Support students with learning, communication, confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Help students access the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure EHCP strategies and support are implemented consistently.
Monitor and record students' progress towards their individual targets.
We're looking for an EHCP Teaching Assistant who is:
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
A confident communicator with a genuine passion for SEN.
Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, therapy, education, or a related field.
Organised and able to follow individual support plans and targets.
