EHCP Teaching Assistant - Bicester

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs and helping them achieve their individual goals?

A Secondary SEN School in Bicester is seeking a dedicated and caring EHCP Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers.

As an EHCP Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in line with students' individual EHCP targets and needs.
• Support students with learning, communication, confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
• Help students access the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure EHCP strategies and support are implemented consistently.
• Monitor and record students' progress towards their individual targets.

We're looking for an EHCP Teaching Assistant who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for SEN.
• Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, therapy, education, or a related field.
• Organised and able to follow individual support plans and targets.

Job Details

• Location: Bicester
• Setting: Secondary SEN School
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: 93- 110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
