Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing industrial solutions provider, supporting customers across a broad range of manufacturing and engineering sectors throughout the UK. They deliver a comprehensive range of engineering services including fabrication and machining.

• Oversee design processes from concept design through to full manufacture, with the use of Solid Works
• Carry out reverse engineering of parts for manufacture
• Occasional travel to customer sites for surveys and measurements
• Produce bills of materials for products
• Work closely with other members of the Engineering team to ensure objectives are met

• Experience of 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works
• 2+ years of experience within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
• Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or Design related subject is desirable
• Experience of reverse engineering is desirable
• Ability to use own initiative
• Based in a commutable distance of Bicester, Oxfordshire

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
