Mobile Plant Fitter
Salary: £38,000–£50,000 per annum + (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).

Location:

Bicester, Oxfordshire (with travel to customer sites across the UK)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a long-established, specialist supplier of concrete equipment to recruit a Senior Mobile Plant Fitter. This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for an experienced HGV or heavy plant engineer looking to work with niche, high-tech machinery in both workshop and field environments.

The Package:
• £38,000–£50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of concrete mixers, pumps, batching plants, silos, and volumetric mixers

• Work across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical (12/24V & 3-phase), and electronic systems (CANbus, PLCs)

• Mentor and support junior engineers

• Conduct inspections and commissioning of equipment

• Represent the company professionally on customer sites

• Contribute to continuous improvement of workshop practices

What We’re Looking For:

• Senior-level experience in HGV or heavy plant engineering

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across multiple systems

• Ability to work independently in workshop and field settings

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Full UK driving licence
