Job Description Graduate Fire Engineer Are you interested in fire engineering and building safety design? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Graduate Fire Engineer, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTECs continued success. As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. Were looking for a dedicated Graduate Fire Engineer to join our Fire Engineering team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Graduate Fire Engineer to join our Fire Engineering team. In this role, youll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in engineering, along with knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance such as Approved Document B and BS standards, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Developing fire safety strategies and providing advisory support during construction stages Preparing technical fire engineering analysis including CFD modelling and assessment reports Supporting senior engineers through site visits, report preparation and client liaison Qualifications To be a successful Graduate Fire Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate: A bachelors or masters degree in an engineering discipline A postgraduate qualification in fire engineering Strong communication skills and a passion for fire safety engineering Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
