An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join an innovative technology company based in Bicester. This hybrid working job offers the chance to play a key role in the design and development of advanced electronic products from concept through to production.
This job would suit a highly skilled Electronics Engineer with strong experience in analogue and digital electronics, embedded firmware development and full product lifecycle management. The successful candidate will join a growing R&D team and take ownership of complex hardware and software development projects while supporting the continued evolution of existing and new products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic hardware.
- Develop embedded firmware for microprocessor‑based products.
- Manage products through the full lifecycle from concept to production.
- Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Support EMC testing, product approvals and compliance activities.
- Design mechanical components, housings and test fixtures where required.
- Manage development projects, schedules and technical deliverables.
- Provide mentoring and technical support to junior engineers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
- Embedded firmware development experience.
- Knowledge of PCB design tools and development environments.
- Experience delivering products into full production.
- Understanding of EMC compliance and certification processes.
- Experience with Wi‑Fi, cellular or other communication technologies.
- Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
- Previous senior‑level engineering experience.
