Whatyou'll do
- Support the development of system performance models for electric propulsion products
- Contribute to requirements capture, management and flow-down activities
- Use Model-Based Systems Engineering and Model-Based Development techniques
- Work with Systems and Motor Control teams to align implementation with system requirements and design objectives
- Assist with system-level optimisation, including thermal modelling, reports and technical presentations
- Receive mentoring and support throughout the programme
You could be involved in projects across:
- Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Model-Based Development
- System Performance Modelling
- Requirements Capture & Management
- System-Level Optimisation
- Thermal Modelling
- Technical Reports & Presentations
We're looking for motivated students who:
- Are studying a relevant STEM degree such as Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- Need to complete an industrial placement year as part of their course
- Have an interest in systems modelling, requirements management and control theory
- Have some experience using modelling tools such as MATLAB or Simulink
- Are structured, analytical, collaborative and eager to learn
This isn't a placement where you'll be sitting on the sidelines. You'll become part of a team of talented engineers working at the forefront of electric aviation. You'll be trusted to contribute, encouraged to innovate and supported to develop both technically and professionally. By the end of your placement, you'll have gained valuable industry experience, built your professional network and developed skills that will help launch your engineering career.
