NHS 111 Health Advisor Full Time - Bicester, South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

At NHS 111, you'll handle a wide variety of calls -- no two days are ever the same. This role requires emotional resilience and the ability to manage the pressures that come with supporting people in often stressful or distressing situations. • This is an office-based position at our Bicester location -- remote or home working is not available.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Fixed part-time rotas are available based on current service needs (see attached).

We offer a full 6-week training program including NHS Pathways (the clinical assessment tool we use) and following training, you will have the necessary skills to assess the needs of the patients to give the best possible care.

• We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.59 per hour. Candidates will also receive the following unsocial allowances:
• All day Saturday (midnight to midnight) as well as any weekday after 8pm and before 6am - Time plus 35% (Currently £16.99 per hour)
• All day Sunday and public holidays (midnight to midnight) - Time plus 69% (Currently £21.27 per hour)

The Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of 3 stages. Candidates successful at each stage will progress to the next stage.

• Application online: describe clearly how you meet the essential and desirable criteria for the role. Use the additional information section to provide information on all relevant experience.
• Assessment session: online assessment gauging listening and understanding skills, critical thinking and problem-solving. You will need access to a webcam and a laptop or PC to do the assessments.
• Interview: face-to-face interview to discuss your skills and experience and to learn more about the role.

Good all-round education (i.e. 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English), or equivalent demonstrable experience in a similar role
