Full training provided

• Type: 2 shifts per week, Monday & Friday – 7:45am – 4pm
• Salary: £15 – £16.81 per hour (includes holiday pay accrual)
• Requirements:
  To be eligible to apply, you must have recent UK experience in a paediatric complex care setting, hold full right to work in the UK and ideally be a car driver

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Assistant to provide care for a young child who requires support with their daily needs. Clinical skills and responsibilities include:

• Seizure management
• Deep suctioning
• Nebulizers
• Epilepsy
• Personal care
• Assist with moving and handling, ensuring the child’s comfort and safety at all times
• Follow the child’s routine and adapt to any changing needs throughout the day
• Comfortable with driving or accompanying the child to and from nursery (car provided).
• Excellent communication skills to work with both the family and the care team.

• At least 12 months of paediatric care experience including deep suctioning and seizure management
• Experience working with clients who have Cerebral palsy would be desired
• Ideally a car driver due
• Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
• Good communication skills and IT confidence
• Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
• Hold an understanding of safeguarding
• Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
