- Northampton Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a Mill Machine Operator to join a busy food production business based in Brackmills, Northampton. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or production experience who is looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with the chance to secure a permanent position. The role will involve operating mill plant equipment, blenders and related machinery to process ingredients accurately and safely within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role As a Mill Machine Operator, your duties may include:
Operating and monitoring mills, blenders and production machinery Loading raw materials into machinery Grinding, blending and mixing ingredients to set specifications Following production schedules and batch instructions Carrying out basic quality checks during production Completing production paperwork and documentation accurately Carrying out routine cleaning of machinery and work areas Supporting basic troubleshooting where required Performing manual handling, including regular heavy lifting Following all hygiene, health and safety and food safety procedures Working in line with HACCP standards

What Were Looking For We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous machine operating experience within a factory or production environment Have experience in food manufacturing, desirable but not essential Have very good written and spoken English Are confident reading instructions and completing production logs Are computer literate and comfortable using basic production systems Are physically fit and able to complete heavy lifting Are reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Can work to targets and deadlines Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
