Primary Care Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Planned Careteam, a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxford.

This role will cover the Inpatient unit, Segregation and Outpatient clinics. Free parking, free gym, a great reputation for new starter inductions offering supportive, hands on and in-depth training. Easily commutable by bus.

37.5 hours a week, working across 7 days. Shifts are either 7am-5pm or 7am-7pm. Weekends work alternate: 7am-5pm or 7.30am-5.30pm. Minimum of 4 nights across a 4 week period, working 7pm-7am.

Annual salary up to £54,397 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responses, assess patients, and undertake reception screening

• Registered nurse (Adult)
• Current professional qualification (NMC)
• Evidence of continued professional development
