We're looking for a full‑time Chef to join a daytime venue known for great lunches, quality coffee, and proper homemade bakes.

You'll be working with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create fresh daytime dishes and contribute to a menu built around creativity, comfort, and quality. This is a hands‑on role with genuine input - not a place where you simply follow a script.

As a Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality daytime food using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. You'll work in a brand‑new kitchen, preparing lunch dishes, baked goods, and event menus - with plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table.

• Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal daytime dishes
• Working with local suppliers and produce
• Supporting menu development with creative input
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
• Assisting with prep, stock control, and kitchen organisation
• Participating in food events and community‑focused activities
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team
• Experience as a chef or strong professional kitchen background
• Passion for fresh, simple, well‑made food
• Creativity and enthusiasm for menu input
• Food hygiene knowledge (or willingness to obtain certification)
