Job description:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that consignments are delivered to and collected from customer premises on time and in full. All consignments are handled and moved safely, comply with all relevant legislation and in accordance with company policy & procedures.
Making deliveries and collections throughout UK. However, you may occasionally be required to undertake other duties as and when required to fulfil the operational requirement. This may involve work away from home or at another location for a short period of time.

• Responsible for taking reasonable care of the Health and Safety of myself andothers who may be affected by my acts or omissions at work to observe best practiceandcompliancewithlegislationintheprotectionoftheenvironmentandconservation of energy.
• Submitting and raising Near Miss, Safety Concerns and Unsafe acts observed while carrying out your daily duties is every colleagues responsibility.
• Operate a van, rigid or artic in a safe and compliant manner adhering to legislation and company policy and procedures
• Operate to the Distribution Strategy of Safer, Greener & Leaner.
• Operate a van, rigid or artic to deliver and collect product to/from the end customer as required.
• Ensure all vehicles in their area of responsibility are in a safe, roadworthy, clean and presentable condition.
